Who Said Learning Wasn’t Fun? – Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake Senior Photographer

A couple weeks ago I returned from an amazing photography workshop and I have been meaning to show off the images!  The Savvy Photography Workshop at Alys Beach was an incrediable opportunity for myself and fellow photographers to get together to learn. Who said learning wasn’t fun??  I had a  fanstatic time and I don’t even know where to begin.

The workshop started off with 25 talented women who came together  from all over the country. All the attendees were greeted by The Savvy Photographer herself Marsha Mifsud and the guest speakers. Everyone was so excited to meet new faces and very enthusiastic to meet the faces behind the huge name brands of The Savvy PhotographerSenior*ologie, Chic Critique, Jamie Schultz Photography and Designs, Stephanie Fisher Photography, Laura Winslow Photography and Whitney English.  I enjoyed mingling with everyone and just relaxed and took in the breath-taking surroundings of the stunning homes, gorgeous beach and sounds of the ocean waves.

This workshop had it ALL!!!   Sit down discussions with the guest speakers, plenty of time to ask questions both in the group settings and in private, styled shoot-outs with seniors, families, children and even a newborn session with a squishy little 5 day new baby girl. Most of all it had plenty of time WITHOUT the kids. I love my babies but it was very nice to be away. You said you couldn’t mix business with pleasure? (Boy, that sounded dirty!)

Below are some images from the amazing styled shoots that were put together. Again, thank you Leslie Kerrigan from  Senior*ologie for putting together these beautiful seniors girls. Clothing: Alterd State   Hair and Make-Up: Rachel Nelson
