Welcome Home USS Dwight D. Eisenhower

I had the privilege of standing patiently amongst a sea of anxious families as everyone waited for the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower to pull pier side very early in the morning on December 30th. It was windy and very cold but that didn’t stop the families from dressing in their best while baring the cold. I stood with this young family and searched through a sea of sailors to find their daddy! Welcome Home USS Dwight D. Eisenhower and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
